Ubisoft has announced their personal gaming assistant, Sam, which is designed to enhance players’ gaming experience. Sam will make use of the players’ profile information, friends list, game library, community and Ubisoft services to deliver tips, information and guidance based on the players’ needs.

Currently in open beta, Sam can be accessed now through the free Ubisoft Club mobile app. It is available in English only in Canada, with plans to extend this open beta to more markets in the coming months.

Sam is part of Ubisoft’s strategy to innovate with the Ubisoft Club and provide more quality of life, beneficial features to its members. Users will be able to find out release dates, watch a trailer and discover easter eggs in a game by chatting with Sam.

Chat through voice or text input and even ask questions about which Assassin is the best in the game series. Sam is capable of analysing why a player may be struggling during matches in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and proactively send a video tip from the community.

Additional features are planned in the near future to enrich the service offered.
