Sony returned to the Shrine Auditorium for their E3 Media Showcase this year, many titles returning from last year’s conference with some new one’s scattered throughout.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was first to hit the screen with a story trailer, the upcoming single-player standalone for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will arrive August 22nd. The story will see Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross through an adventure of their own.
Horizon: Zero Dawn DLC entitled The Frozen Wilds was announced and will release later this year.
We were treated to more Days Gone gameplay that showed off stealth, lure and bait scenario’s that are seen within the game. There may have just been a brief moment of what appears to be a zombie bear too.
Monster Hunter: World was announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC with the PS4 version due for release worldwide early 2018. Then on other platforms at a later date. The game will feature a drop-in, drop-out multiplayer experience for up to three players.
The huge PS2 hit from Japan Studio, Shadow Of the Colossus is back! A remake of the game is due for release in 2018.
Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite is coming September 19th but you can play the story demo made available the same day as the conference.
Activision’s and Sledgehammer Games’ Call Of Duty WWII had a new trailer for the multiplayer reveal, the game set to release November 3rd. Pre-order for access to the private beta that begins on August 25th for PS4.
The VR segment of the show featured a variety of different experiences heading to the platform. Explore the epic world of Skyrim in VR another title coming from Bethesda for the Virtual Reality platforms.
Other titles present included The Inpatient from Supermassive Games, sci-fi game Star Child, Polyarc’s Moss due for release holiday 2017 and Monster of the Deep, a Final Fantasy XV experience which puts the player behind a fishing rod.
Early 2018 is the release window for the new God Of War title on it’s way from Santa Monica Studio. More gameplay was revealed in the Be A Warrior trailer. Kratos and his son Atreus venture into the Norse wilds.
Detroit: Become Human continues its trend of superb trailer’s that showcase it’s great visuals, deep twisting story and freedom of choice to the player. No release window announced.
PlayStation 4 exclusive content for Destiny 2 was announced including, the Lake Of Shadows strike, exotic gun Weapon Borealis, PVP map Retribution and the City Apex ship.
To end the presentation, Spider-Man was the final title with a brand new trailer showing off the gameplay of Insomniac Games latest venture. Due for release sometime in 2018.
